RE: (TV) Sweet Music to my ears / Heaven / Edge
I thought some on List might get a kick out of this.

I've been to this guy's "Listening Studio" a bunch of times
over the years, [not a plug , since his beautiful listening
spacee and the building's other tenants were forced to move
by Eminent Domain from Boston's "Big Dig" project].
Heard the the first two Television records, first, second and
fifth (i.e., Flash Light) Verlaine solo records, and a very
good vinyl pressing of the Television "Arrow" bootleg.
Felt like I had died and gone to heaven.

Philosophically, I understand where you're coming
from, Owen, but after seeing Barry on tv Sunday
singing at the Super Bowl I just gotta believe that
somehow, someway it's more than just a matter of taste.
PPS: Was Edge's guitar on Sunday on the 1st song U-2
performed under-mixed/miked, or was it the lousy sound of my brother's
tv set?
