A mate of mine lives near All-Ears, and I visit the place frequently.  Love
it.

As far as great stores in the Indy area, you can't beat Missing Link in
Broadripple (for LPs) and Luna Music on 86th and Ditch (for CDs).  Both very
very good stores.  All-Ears is a good hybrid of the two, but there is no
replacement for them.

Agreed.  Some things sound great on vinyl, but most of them I'm pretty
indifferent.  I think vinyl is very cool, but don't throw a hissy fit over
CDs, either.

And I have a 1974 Technics 1300 direct drive turntable.  It's basically a
fully-automatic version of the 1200, I've been told.  I love it.  And for
Stylus, I just use a Shure whatever number it is ... it sounds great to my
untrained ears.
