I was just in Minneapolis, and saw Television '92 it in Cheapo, uptown.
No Verlaine solo used, however, which is really what I'm hoping to come
across.
My vinyl is in great shape, I just want 5 CDs in the turntable, on shuffle.

RE: vinyl vs. CD - I'm no audiophile. I am particularly upset with some of
my vinyl (about 1100 LPs, 600 7"). I really thought I took better care of
them. Those snap, crackle, pops may add the nostalgic touch that also plays
the heartstrings, Nick, but I am annoyed by them. ALL my CD's work
perfectly. I don't get the 'warmth' of vinyl and the "brittle sterility" of
digital - I guess I have too much hearing damage. Is that why I play
everything LOUD?
...enough about "warm and cool",
 I always had to tape my records to make them portable - I'm with Joe, I
take CDs anywhere, lend them out with out reservation, etc etc etc. And it
all still sounds great to me.
I guess I never had a really good turntable, because I still hear things on
CD that I never could discern before, and I've checked sometimes against the
records...yeah, it's in there... buried in the mix, but there.
It my opinion, I don't think there's anything to argue, whatever floats your
boat, eh?

Joe - maybe after there are 5 tributes, we could re-release the box set on
vinyl...?
 we need at least one TV tribute a year, I still have not contributed.
