(TV) on the subject of "lost albums"

I read somewhere last year that Tom Verlaine had completed two different
albums, one an instrumental record, while the other was a song oriented
affair with vocals.
Any one know if these will ever see the light of day?
And what about the music he composed for the "music for films" tour?
Then again, there were once rumors about an acoustic lp...what happened to
that idea?

Forgive if these topics have been discussed before, I am new to the list.
