maybe Leo but if you want to be commercial it's a prerequisite to have
TUNES - y'know melodies that are instantaneous/memorable and choruses that
the postman can whistle - i don't hear any/many on a lot of Verlaine's solo
stuff and that's why i find them very hard going indeed for the most part
(excluding the debut eponymous TV disc and the wonder of course)....

just my opinion of course...
