Very well put (and well written)!. That does indeed kinda hit the nail on the 
head.

If I remember right, Roger McGuinn, David Crosby and Chris Hillman did a few 
shows as The Byrds in the 90's to stop drummer Michael Clarke from forming a 
band around himself and calling it "The Byrds".
