(TV) Fire in the Boathouse

Anybody hear these guys yet?  Below is the "ad/review" run by

Fire In The Boathouse

 The quickest way to describe their sound is to suggest what Television 
might have sounded like if they spent their  formative years in Athens or 
Phoenix without having compromised any of their literate and poetic 
sensibilities.  Sounding not unlike Tom Verlaine, FITB songwriter and 
vocalist David Wildman (Boston Globe arts columnist and Sci-fi writer) takes 
a unique approach to country-styled music. The outcome is a mongrel blend of 
country-blues-rock & something timeless. The are moments light and some that 
are dark and moody. It's intriguing throughout, though, and certainly 
justifies emphasis of the ALT part of alt-country.
