(TV) Band lineups

Not ruling it out though. For reference, see the "VU's" SQUEEZE, The Clash's
CUT THE CRAP, the stories about new Dead Kennedys shows without Jello Biafra,
or "Electric Light Orchestra Part II" (the 90's group led by drummer Bev
Bevan).
To go on a new thread ...
With some acts, I can tolerate some shuffling. The Mothers changed often, but
that was always obviously Zappa's project, so having Frank there was enough.
King Crimson's reinvented itself several times over, but again, doesn't bug
me. It works.
However, could you image a "Television" show without the current four
members? I couldn't. And yes, I know Hell was in the original, and a Hell-era
TV reunion would be a blast. However ... any other change would seem like
sacrilege.
Does that dichotomy make any sense to anyone but me?
