(TV) Re: TV Foot plus Verlaine

don't know if anyone was there, but thurston moore, don fleming, and jim dunbar 
(aka FOOT) played a show saturday at flywheel in easthampton, ma featuring none 
other than tom verlaine. i didn't go cuz i thought it was cancelled, but i hear 
that it went like this:
thurston rolled up in the "foot mobile",which is his car covered in posters and 
junk, and don fleming put a mic up to the radio speakers as thurston flipped 
through the channels. meanwhile, jim dunbar bounced a ball on the hood, and 
verlaine, presumably, just sat in the car. i heard no mention of verlaine's 
specific role in the group except that he surely participated. this all took 
place around 2 in the pm, opening for the travelling noise circus "phi 
phenomenon".
i am pissed beyond words for having no excuse for not being there. i only live 
about 30 minutes away.
