I didn't make that connection myself.  I was glad that she got back with her 
old bandmates- I thought they supported her music well.  I really liked the 
album, and although I missed the fire/pain of her earlier work, I don't 
begrudge her relative peace.  This was supposed to be her NYC album.  She 
lived in the city for 6 months while writing the album.  It was my second 
favorite album of the year, after XTC's Wasp Star.
