Re: (TV) For anyone still looking...

I am wondering why you guys are keen on Japanese copy.
I used to buy rather imported albums (US or UK ones) as they didn't have extra stuff.
Liner notes and translation of the lyrics were usually set with records/CDs to add a bit
of value to fill the gap of the price between Japanese version and imported. (Usually
Japanese ones are 15 to 20% more expensive.) And I always thought both were never good
enough, rather useless.
So I preferred imported as long as the sound was same. And above all, imported were cool
for me!

I don't care so much about it now, but it's funny to know while I look for UK/US
versions here, you look for Japanese ones there...

By the way, Echo and the Bunnymen is appearing in Japan in July with Patti Smith and
Neil Young. Wish to see TV, too. I remember the interview that Tom approved Bunneymen's
"Friction", Siouxsie and the Banshees' "Little Johnny Jewel" and REM's "See No Evil",
but disapproved Lloyd Cole's "Glory" ! (which I haven't heard)
