(TV) Gigs, NRBQ on Simpsons

I still think we can expect a Television show in NYC
this fall.  Hopefully, with Patti Smith Group at a
major venue...mebbe The Beacon, perhaps?

Speaking of The Simpsons, anybody around here a fan of
NRBQ? Their music is used on the show quite often and
a year or so they were on the show as animated
characters *and* were filmed in the flesh doing the
show's theme music for the end credits. 

The "Q" are one of the world's greatest bands
(although a totally different universe than TV), have
been around for some 34 years and, hopefully, will
have a special aired on VH1 before year's end.
