Sure would like to hear that tribute record. My first band did a few TV
covers and we were a trio. I remember meeting Fred for the first timne,
coming from a rehearsal, with my bass and feeling pretty strange about
covering his basslines. I thought
he'd be on tour when I went to the place he was sharing with deerfrance and
I arrived to meet her for lunch.
Later on when I told tom about my cover band he seemed pretty interested in
whose parts our guitarist/singer played.
