Here's another connection: If TV did the best cover of "Knockin' on 
Heaven's Door" (captured, happily, on _The Last Time_ boot, IMO), 
G'n'R easily made the worst.  Axl's sneery whine helps pound the tune 
into a little greasy spot, and not an ounce of soul remains.

While we're on unpleasant topics, let me apologize on behalf of the 
US to TV-listers worldwide for whatever my country's about to do to 
you.
