The only listenable disc of the Dead I have encounted is "Infrared Roses." 
That's it. 

Other than that, it's that ugly-ass tone of Garcia's guitar and that cracked
unmusical voice.

Here's your chance: define "their peak."  I actually don't have any 
Dead in the collection, and probably won't until I hear something 
that justifies it.  So what would that something be?
