I don't know anying about AMM, but looking on  allmusic.com I guess it 
could be the same person. (Actually I don't know much about Keith Rowe 
either).

I went to my local crappy HMV store today and bought the new CD by one of 
my heroes, Danish trumpeter Palle Mikkelborg. I didn't even know he'd made 
a new CD. Really lush European modern jazz, with Terje Rypdal et al. 
Lovely.
