Glad you liked it!You're right about the JC120. I think his guitar as a soloartist sounded best on these gigs in -85. Loud and straight into the amp (Fender, I think), no delays and stuff that he for some reason added later. Just made the sound muddy. I don't think he ever has managed to capture this sound on his own records, not until now on the new CD. The best Lloyd-guitarsound, I think, is on Girlfriend, fantastic sound on that album. Not even on Real Time it really sounds LIVE. My opinion is that the radio FM clips in my folder is more ALIVE. (I'll try to write to Richard and ask if he knows what happened to the that recording.) At the show I took See No Evil from I remember Richard was a little irritated because of new strings (he had to tune a lot). But new strings use to sound LOUD, and that together with some adrenaline can make magical things happen. The Guitar Player article was mentioned so I uploaded it to, guess what... Yes, my FDS-folder.

I've got to say, he really attacked "See No Evil"--quite a tempo! And the sound's pretty darned good, relative to a lot of the live Lloyd recordings I've heard. (_Real Time_ excepted...but I still don't like the JC120.)Thanks for sharing! -Maurice At 10:29 AM +0000 1/4/01, Per RosÈn wrote:You're welcome!
