Not quite. Blondie "supported" Television on the first British tour. 
It's actually more to do with The Damned's first visit to the USA in 
the spring of 77. I think they were due to support Television on 
some dates (LA maybe), but Tom had them removed from the bill, 
which caused all kinds of problems.

No it's not, but quite honestly he/they deserved it. The song has a 
great TV parody guitar solo.
