Listen dude... I have both a Jaguar and a Jazzmaster pre-CBS both from 64'. 
I really believe that the "Jaguar" that you've seen is actually the 
Jazzmaster with lipsticks in it. They one with a burnt metallic orange 
color. I have never seen him play a Jaguar. Look for the toggle switch that 
Jazzmasters have. The Jaguars have 3-Switch pick up selector.
