It's up to $1925 as I write this, and the reserve still hasn't been met.
That's a hell of a lot more than I'd spend on a guitar! The only guitar
I ever played that I thought justified a pricetag of over $1000 was a Taylor
acoustic that practically played itself. If my wife hadn't been with me,
I might have broken out the credit card and walked away with it - I was
under its spell! That came after almost an hour in the Guitar Center's
expensive acoustic room playing Martins and Guilds and the like, and being
underwhelmed :)
I never did get to the electric section where there were a few Rickenbackers
beckoning me... I either would have been similarly entranced or crushed,
as I've always longed for that Rick sound.
