Re: (TV) Frisell
I saw Frisell and his trio and Robin Holcomb at the EMP about two months ago
. I had heard of him before but knew nothing of his music. Totally an
inspiring player - sparked my interest instrumental guitar music. Reminds me
in some way of Fripp but much more human. He really likes his pedals and
gadgets but I was mostly impressed by how easy he made it all look and yet
the music was amazing and soulful. And he seems like a really nice guy -
very friendly to the audience. I immediately went out and got Ghost Town.
What else of his work should I listen to ?
